17th annual Trees For Tomorrow golf outing set

EAGLE RIVER, WI – Trees For Tomorrow (TFT) will host its 17th annual golf outing fundraiser on Friday, May 31, at the Eagle River Golf Course in Eagle River, WI.
This event raises funds to support its environmental science educational programs and provide access to these programs for all K-12 students through scholarship funds.
It includes an 18-hole, four-person scramble, challenge and betting holes, raffle, luncheon, awards ceremony and a chance to win $10,000 in the hole-in-one contest. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
“Our golf outing is one of our key fundraising events that we do each year,” TFT Executive Director, Robin Ginner, said. “Thanks to the generosity of the many people who make it successful, we are able to make a significant difference in educating our youth to make responsible decisions when managing our natural resources for future generations.”
Last year’s event raised more than $15,000 to ensure educational opportunities for students attending TFT. The event is held rain or shine.
Trees For Tomorrow, founded in 1944, is an accredited non-profit specialty school that combines outdoor recreation with natural resources education for over 10,000 students, teachers and adults each year on its campus in Eagle River.
Registration includes 18 holes of golf, cart, continental breakfast and lunch, commemorative T-shirt, water, beverage coupon and six challenge hole entries for $150. Register by May 10, and get the Super Pack that also includes an extensive game hole contest package and entry into an exclusive raffle for $205.
“Those folks who aren’t golfers can still support the event by sponsoring a hole, donating an item for the raffle or volunteering at the event,” added Ginner. “This is a great opportunity to promote your business to a statewide audience, in Wisconsin as well as Upper Michigan, and show your support of natural resources stewardship.”
